WELCOME TO MY HOUSE

CG’s Bichons relocated to Reno, NV in the late 90’s.

As a private breeder my Bichon Frise puppies are raised "inside" my home, not in a kennel atmosphere. This makes the puppies better pets as they are socialized from birth.  My goal is to raise happy, healthy Bichon Frise pets (for those who choose not to pay show prices or purchase at pet shops, pups sold in pet shops are from puppy mills).   I do not sell to pet shops or wholesalers.

I do absolutely no in-breeding, line-breeding or cross-breeding.  I am a breeder and owner who cares about the quality of my dog’s breed. All my puppy’s parents are AKC Registered and my stud  is DNA tested to further the superiority of the breed and assure no faults. My dogs are Veterinarian check each year.

I have 7 Bichons: 1 Stud, Bubba and 6 Ladies, Chloe, Cricket, Corkey, Crackers, Caffeine, Chancer. All of my ladies have Champions in their line, nothing recent as I do not show my dogs.  It's to time consuming, expensive and increases the cost for the puppies.   I also use Tori, a stud who has 5 generations of champions in his line. All have excellent temperament and great personalities.  My Bichons do not have allergies, tear staining or dirty faces.

My ladies are bred every other season, giving them a break from motherhood and a time to enjoy their "doggy life".

My pups are well socialized and are checked by a veterinarian before placed in their new home. They are current with their vaccinations and worming, dewclaws removed and crate trained.

I recommended a nutritional program including dog food and vitamin supplements for owners to follow.  When followed I feel confident in offering a "lifetime guarantee" on all my pups.

The Bichon is a very dependent breed. They are always in your face, on your lap, and under your feet. They have big personalities and are great fun to own. They require a great deal of affection and can make owners feel guilty when they are not able to give them this. The Bichon does not do well stuck at home, alone.   If you work and there is no one home to care for the puppy, you might consider purchasing a second dog as companions for each other. Or a different breed, as the Bichon does not do well when left alone for 8-10 hours a day. Therefore, I do not place my puppies in homes where they will be left alone for long periods of time.PLEASE consider the well being of the pup before you purchase

Because of my location and easy access to the Airport, most of my customers are able to visit my home and their "new" puppy. For those that cannot I can fly their pup to its new home, within the USA; costs will be around $200.00. I’m very careful to insure that they are kept safe.

I have pups in several Nevada Cities, California, Arizona, Oregon, Iowa, Idaho & Alaska. If you would like references I can supply you with names of owners of my pups.
